Chamomile (National flower of Russia)

The national flower of Russia is the chamomile, the Latin name of which is Matricaria Recutita. The flowers look a bit like daisies, with white petals and bright yellow centres, but they have a typical smell. The plant also grows higher than a daisy plant, reaching anywhere between 6 inches and 2 feet in height. The leaves are dark green and feathery.

Russia is a country that is very rich in culture. Aside from that, it is also famous for different aspects including the entertainment in various places as well. These are just some of the things that put a bond to the rest of Russia. However, the chamomile plant is considered as one of the best things that tie the country best. You can find most homes and places filled with this relaxing plant. You can even see the borders of Russia filled with chamomile flowers and plants.

Chamomile has some medicinal uses. Some research has suggested it can help with anxiety. In Russia, Chamomile tea is known to help stomach aches, colds, anxiety, muscle aches, and insomnia.
